I love the shot below with the seaweed drawing up inside the wave... nice bottom turn too.
Got heaps more, as I hung around for a fair bit of the avo, might upload them another day when I havent got anything to put up. Also went over to blackhead before lunch where it was absolutely pumping, got some shots from that I'll put up later tonight maybe.

Sic shots nic, we just sent them to kids in oz and ther'e amping to get over here for a surf! BTW love the surf blocks I saw at exibition
cheers for that! hey, are they not getting any surf over there? grass is always greener eh. And the Pblocks turned out not too bad eh, even made a sale on trademe this morning with a buy now.
Yeah, they get plenty of surf at Bawley Point, just keen to taste it here! We forget most Oz kids have never seen snow! But they r keen
whoa, what a difference a day makes! guess i'm not going to get to test my new wee toothpick for a few days, I'm not sure whether to be happy or sad about that, but damn those are some big waves
All i can say is wow! they are some damn nice pics nic...i havnt had waves like that in a long while :(
Love the gulls in the line-up... classic!!!
yep classic alright!! theres a bunch of a coupla dozen gulls that congregate around those steps and the stormwater outlet. like a harem/family. love watching them
