still small but swell is building

Sunrise this morning...

17ft expected at shoreline the next few days .. 14 second period..

UPDATE 2pm .. looks a mess out there now full southerly has hit and its a white wash all through St Clair-Kilda.. what I can see from my kitchen window at least, hope someone gets some waves from this super swell the next few days. below is a 10 frame gif I just made from this morning.. using the loan canon 30D with 100-400 IS lens .. all above pics today were taken with this setup too as well as the 10-22mm for the sunrise shots.

forgot to load these two too::

WOW I LOVE the top 2 sunrise shots! The top one would be spectacular full size!

How did you enjoy using the Canon gear?

loved the frame rate!!! and shutter was so responsive! had a bit of a brain drain trying to work out how the control dials laid out and read.. not quite there yet but still seems pretty easy to use.
so I'm pretty much sold
