Otago Conservancy values Survey

Do you Value the Otago Coastline?
I'm sure you do.
Please take the time (they suggest twenty mins) to fill in the survey stating how you value the Otago coastline, and assist DOC in protecting our conservation land. eg: the beauty and Amenity value for surfing (or other activities), wildlife etc. If we don't make our individual voices heard, then our values are not regarded when conservation issues, development, plan changes and other matters try and weasel into our playground. So don't sit back and bemoan lost paradise in the future.

better to spend time inputting into District Plan process. DoC are toothless sharks...

district plans process for otago was up for review in 2008, as of last month, there are no plans to review in any near or far future - according to ORC. 1998 plan still in force

DCC jurisdictional boundary is to mean HWM. on basis of all developments within these areas requiring resource consent, i believe time is better spent on terrestrial planning matters. territorial authorities are required to upgrade every 5-10 years.

I was talking about ORC. perhaps anon you could email me and set me in the direction you think my time and energy would be most effective, now that would be very constructive and appreciated.
