Ummm, way to be sweepingly dismissive Anon. I'm from Chch, went to public schools and never gave a hoot about who went where. Neither did any of my mates. I know what you're saying, and it's natural in a town with so many private schools, but to say everyone in Chch is like that is kind of reverse-snobbery. I spent all my years in Chch East, in beach towns. Does that make me a wanker?
i take anons point as CHCH is a little pretentious as one of the issues relates to school zonings. isn't it funny Alan, in any other city people jump at the chance to live in a beach side suburb, except in CHCH, seemingly because of school zoning implications etc. My experience however is that CHCH is full of very cool people.
CHCH, pretentious little village. the 1st question any one from CHCH asks you is 'What school did you go to?' wankers
