The Digging has begun


Now that the supporting steel pile things (can't think tonight what they are properly called) are in all around the edges.. the digging out of the basement carpark of the Hotel on the Esplanade has begun.

Below, Baccy at St Clair this evening, a few out, but backwash and big sets made for a messy surf.

    Its called sheet piling and the process is called baulking out, eg removing material from site. I hope they are meeting all relevant legislation in regard work place health and safety requirments.
