I am guessing you projected completion and made an offer as a way to motivate yourself? That can work (deadline motivation)... life can get in the way too.

Anyway, you're absolutely right about the wild, mysterious, seemingly external "possession" of inspired creativity, at least a lot of us feel so. I think the key to realising it is to leave the door open as much as possible, ie, sitting down and doing it, going through the motions, even if the spirit isn't there.

Easier said than done. FWIW, to me, you appear a very high achiever, and the paintings pictured above (my note is retro) are fantastic... underpriced??

-JonathanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22883844.post-80186151532952924412009-09-11T09:11:51.112+12:002009-09-11T09:11:51.112+12:00thanks Nancy, yes, its been an ongoing for many ye...thanks Nancy, yes, its been an ongoing for many years. You will reflect in years to come, and see things you simply cannot at this moment. Really great work often comes from the very process we depise. Listen to your heart, and the rest will follow.Surfer Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09581401861692114052noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22883844.post-50745662367859986612009-09-07T20:14:24.966+12:002009-09-07T20:14:24.966+12:00Keep doing what your doing Nic!Keep doing what your doing Nic!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22883844.post-66623486658824502512009-09-07T08:04:26.272+12:002009-09-07T08:04:26.272+12:00Nic most of us are very happy you are who you areNic most of us are very happy you are who you areAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22883844.post-42270816425380304192009-09-06T19:23:56.271+12:002009-09-06T19:23:56.271+12:00Creativity is your thing Woman ,forget what you th...Creativity is your thing Woman ,forget what you think people think and just Go for it!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
