Oh and a seal/sealion playing in the waves too

I was holed up in my studio all day not realising that there was a sizeable swell with a strong offshore weaving its magic today. Although the wind was very strong, and the faces were pretty choppy at times I managed to get a few okay shots after 3 when I picked caity up from school. Pity about the grey dull light, but let me just call it 'atmosphere'.

I still have to piece together the Wave Wahines mish to aramoana.. hopefully up by christmas, just pretty busy painting at the mo. but also hopefully when there is a good swell coming through, and a crisp day out, I can get some more footage and work something with that.
