Windy Bay 11th March - Finally

Arrived at Windy Bay about 1pm, it was blowing a gale as per normal. The carpark was full of all kinds of surf vehicles with a few guys crashed out inside their cars, obviously already spent from a numbing session with a wind chill factor that must have put the temp into the negatives. It was high tide, 2-3 foot barrels about 15 guys on the water on longboards, shortboards and body boards.

Woah nice again the double pit again looks great, went for a wave on sunday and got some decent ones, its starting to get cold up here again but i personally have no idea what its like to surf the deep south, other than a small surf i had at New Brighton 2 winters ago.

just posted a coupla extras. The real 'other double pit one', but its not great quality, if you saw the conditions I was taking the pics in! Got sandblasted for an hour for that session, glad I didn't surf. Too cold without booties and a hood this time of year for me.
